Literacy has a new meaning in the digital age. As important as learning the language, students must be able to communicate digitally through the use of technological devices. In this course, students are exposed to lessons delivered by electronic means, use the computer and the Internet (optional) to complete course requirements, and examine the media and its presence in God's universe. The course units include text-based lessons, on and off-computer exercises, special projects, learning games, quizzes, and tests that appeal to today's digital generation and help teachers to evaluate progress and mastery of the materials. Ignitia 6th Grade Language Arts enriches the educational experience for Christian school students and sparks a passion for learning.
