At Enlightium Academy, we are dedicated to providing students with a premier college preparatory education. In order to ensure the smooth progression of coursework and the maintenance of transcripts, our policies and refunds clearly define the respective responsibilities of Enlightium Academy and our students. Enlightium Academy Agreement Statement
The Enlightium Academy Agreement Statement is intended to make the relationship with our families clear, and to set forth the policies that govern that relationship. Enlightium Academy partners with you to provide educational services and support for each of our students. Your payment plan provides you with enrollment in an accredited school and teacher services. Your fees pay for administrative services, counseling options, education support services, ongoing customer service and maintenance of student records, evaluations and transcripts. Enlightium Academy Agreement Statements are signed after a student is admitted to our school.
Withdrawal from Enlightium Academy
If a student withdrawals from school within 14 days after the enrollment start date, 100% of the tuition cost is refundable and will be applied to any remaining balance due. All fees are non-refundable, with the exception of tuition. If the student’s request to withdrawal occurs after 14 days of enrollment, a 30% of tuition withdrawal fee will be applied and all unpaid balances are due immediately.
Dropping a Course
If a student drops a course within 14 days after the enrollment start date, 100% of the tuition cost is refundable and will be applied to any remaining balance due. The course will be removed from the student’s transcript. If the student’s request to drop the course occurs after 14 days, no refund/credit is available and a course withdrawal will be entered on the student’s transcript. If an enrollment end date has passed, a student may not drop a course and a final course grade will be entered on the student’s transcript.
If a student is unable to complete a course by the designated enrollment end date, an extension on the enrollment period may be purchased if the student has submitted a sufficient number of lessons to qualify.
Extensions are granted at the discretion of the Student Services Department. Extensions may also be required for work submitted in bulk near the end of the enrollment in order to accommodate grading time.
The Student Services Department will examine the student’s progress in all courses to determine the level of extension that is required for student to complete the remaining coursework.
