Enlightium Academy’s Bridge Program is available to students to provide any combination of short-term individualized resources, academic and schedule changes, and emotional support services to help distressed students. The Bridge Program’s goal is to help students grow confidence in their potential so that they can obtain the needed academic skills for their future career. The EA team believes that by giving students in need extra support and encouragement, we will help them to see that they have God-given abilities to be successful in life.
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
The EA Bridge Program offers a more proactive approach to education in preventing struggling students from falling through cracks during their academic career.
The Bridge Program is recommended to students in grades 3–12 who are struggling academically (have failing grades from the previous school, have low progress, or course inactivity while at EA), and for students in grades 3–8 who scored significantly below average on EA placement tests, as determined by EA counselors.
A short intervention via the Bridge Program might be recommended by EA counselors for students that are going through an emotional crisis (depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, significant loss, or trauma) that need ancillary services.
Through EA’s Bridge Program, students may receive academic interventions, curriculum adaptations, and/or accommodations to the student’s schedule for a specific period of time. Ideally, this will allow students to get caught up and transition back to the Standard Academic Program.
Parents, EA’s principal, counselors, teachers, or the Progress Department may request student enrollment.
Please consult with your student’s Counselor or Bridge Program Coordinator if you have additional questions or need help with your student registration.
