ENROLLMENT FOR THE 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR
Enrollment for the 2022-2023 school year is open!
Enlightium Academy offers an education that is both academically challenging and rooted in a biblical worldview. Regardless of where your student is in their educational journey, we seek to work alongside your student by supporting, guiding, and bringing them to the next academic level. Our counselors review all incoming students’ report cards for grades K-8 and transcripts for grades 9-12, analyze entrance assessment results, and work with parents to develop an academic plan specific to every student’s needs and goals.
Enlightium Academy admits students of any race, color, sex, national, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at Enlightium. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, national, or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship, athletic, and other school-administered programs.
Admissions Process
Step 1
Pay the Enrollment Fee and Submit the Enrollment Form
Grades PreK-12
Pay the $250 enrollment fee and complete the enrollment form for each new student. The enrollment fee is non-refundable after 72 hours. The enrollment form will need to be completed using a laptop or desktop computer, not a smartphone or tablet.

Step 2
Send Enlightium the Student's Report Card/Transcript
Grades K-12
Once your student has completed the current school year, talk to your previous school about their withdrawal policies to ensure that Enlightium receives all records in a timely manner. Your family will also be provided the opportunity to submit records during the enrollment process.
Step 3
Complete the Entrance Assessments
Grades 3-12
An entrance assessment is typically assigned:
- If enrolling on or before May 14, 2022, by May 15th
- If enrolling on or after May 14, 2022, within three school days of submitting the enrollment form
The entrance assessment should be completed by the student as soon as possible for classes to be assigned on time. They are used by the student’s counselor, along with records and the parents’ input, to help determine course assignments.
Step 4
Review/Confirm Student’s Schedule with the Counselor
Grades PreK-12
Parents with students in:
- Grades PreK-2 will receive a welcome email near the student’s start date. This email will include instructions to confirm the curriculum content that is to be purchased by the parent.
- Grades 3–8 will receive a notification via email when courses are assigned near the student’s start date.
- Grades 9–12 will receive a course planner via email from their counselor near the student’s start date. Parents will need to review and confirm this course planner via email in order for courses to be assigned.
Step 5
Complete the Student and Parent Orientations
Grades PreK-12
The Student Orientation
The Student Orientation course is required for students in grades 3–12. It is assigned to students around their desired start date and covers:
- School-wide updates and new policies
- Grade level-specific advice
- Video testimonies from Enlightium students
The Parent Orientation
The Parent Orientation course is required for all parents. It includes:
- The 2022-2023 Open House video
- New and updated resources for your family
- Video testimonies from Enlightium parents and students
- The updated Family Handbook, supply lists, and project forecasts
Step 6
Review Your State’s Education Requirements
Grades PreK-12
Enlightium Academy is a private Christian school that is accredited by Cognia and the Association of Christian Schools International and serves homeschool, online, and co-op school students in grades K-12. Since most of our students study from home settings, some states view our students as homeschoolers, therefore requiring them to follow their state’s homeschool requirements.
