Gifted & Higher Learner

The Gifted and Higher-Level Learner Program seeks to provide unique learning opportunities to students who are advanced and highly capable learners.

The purpose of Enlightium Academy’s Gifted and Higher-Level Learner Program (GHLL) is to meet the uniquely advanced needs of gifted, talented, and highly capable learners by providing opportunities to learn and progress at individual paces, levels, and abilities. This program’s one-on-one mentoring, evidence-based practices, specialized instruction, and project-based curriculum are designed to enhance higher-level thinking, provide creative learning experiences, progress learning, maximize potential, and develop skills to solidify strengths and improve weaknesses. By learning how to learn and gaining tools to adapt, students will cultivate metacognitive and self-regulating techniques to promote brain development. Learning experiences will be student-directed and will involve peer collaboration.

Enlightium Academy’s GHLL Program was developed using the NAGC’s Gifted Programming Standards as a guide for evidence-based practices and expected student outcomes.
