Summer School Options

OPTION 1

WHEN: This extension will be available from June 5th to July 19th.

REGISTRATION: An extension for the current school year will not be available starting July 1, 2019. Tuition discounts are NOT available.

  • Early registration fee (on or before May 30, 2019): $300
  • Late registration fee (from May 30th–June 30th, 2019): $350

If you are not certain about whether or not summer school will be necessary, contact the Progress Department as soon as possible, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or 866-488-4818 // option 3, to discuss your specific situation. Our team members often recommend waiting until mid-May to apply for an extension (when all parties have a clearer picture as to whether or not an extension is needed).

TEACHER SUPPORT & CURRICULUM: Due to limited teacher availability during the summer, students will have Silver Package support: teachers will assist students through chat within 24 hours during business hours. Enlightium faculty will be reviewing and updating the curriculum during the summer. This means that students will be using the curriculum from the previous school year during part of the summer and then will be switched to the updated curriculum during the school year.

OPTION 2

Early Start for the Next School Year

WHO: Students who are/will be enrolled in the next school year and who would like to begin courses during the summer. Recommended for students in grades 3-8 who would like more time to complete their first semester courses (students typically start core courses and one or more electives). Recommended for students in grades 9-12 who would like more time to complete 0.5–1 elective credit(s) before the start of the standard school year.

PRICING: There is an increase to the discounted tuition for each month that the student starts early (however, students with the Diamond Support package are exempt from early start fees).

WHEN: The first official day of the next school year is Thursday, August 15, 2019; however, Enlightium offers additional dates for students who would like to start early.

  • Monday, June 10, 2019 (includes 20% tuition increase)
  • Monday, July 1, 2019 (includes 15% tuition increase)
  • Monday July 15, 2019 (includes 10% tuition increase)
