Students are given two attempts on lessons and quizzes to reach a minimum threshold, that can be adjusted per student. Additionally, if a student does not pass the lesson on the first attempt, the student is able to see which questions were marked correct or incorrect. Students are also able to provide detailed explanations for corrections on quizzes for half credit. Alternate tests are also available in many of the subjects when technical issues or other difficulties arise.

Credit recovery courses are assigned to students who took a course with their previous school, but did not pass it. Credit recovery are also assigned to students who took non-accredited courses. By taking a credit recovery course, the student is able to test on different concepts and relearn only the material he/she does not know well and test out of the sections already grasped by the student.
