Detailed Course Description

As they travel throughout the world studying the culture of Hispanic people, students in this interactive elective will improve speaking, writing, listening, and reading, as they build their vocabulary, compose more complex sentences, and practice grammar and pronunciation skills. Communication skills grow as students become increasingly articulate in this pervasive romance language and examine the culture that lies beneath.

The course units include text-based lessons, on and off-computer exercises, special projects, learning games, quizzes, and tests that appeal to today's digital generation and help teachers to evaluate progress and mastery of the materials. Spanish II enriches the educational experience for Christian school students and sparks a passion for learning.
