Curriculum

High School

Employing the latest multimedia techniques including graphics, games, and other activities, Enlightium Academy uses a curriculum that fosters a rich learning environment.

Enlightium Academy (Enlightium) offers Ignitia™ curriculum, which was created by Alpha Omega Publications (AOP). Ignitia™ is based on a learner-centered model drawing from current educational research.

High School Curriculum Overview

Bible

1 course per year

Bible courses are required while enrolled at Enlightium Academy. One Bible course should be taken each academic year at Enlightium. An Enlightium counselor will assign a Bible course for your grade level. Bible courses typically follow a particular order. However, New and Old Testament courses can be taken either in grade 9 or 10. Also, if a student is joining Enlightium in grade 11 or 12, these courses may be assigned instead of Bible Doctrine or Foundation for Living.

English

1 course per year – some available in Honors

One English course needs to be taken for each year that the student attends Enlightium. English courses typically follow a particular order. However, in some cases, based on Enlightium placement test results and previous school transcripts, your counselor may assign a different English course that will meet your needs and the graduation requirements.
