The Personal Pathway electives at Enlightium Academy include text-based lessons, assignments, quizzes, and tests that engage students while they learn. Students explore the history, culture, and the passion of America through this interactive Ignitia literature course that features the writings of key colonial figures, romantic poets, the naturalists, and writers from the modern and post-modern age.

From Chaucer and Shakespeare to Charles Dickens and James Joyce, students will explore some of the foundational pieces of British literature, read the work of classic poets, and examine the fiction and prose that still influences literature today, not only in England, but all over the world.

Students will become familiar with the various schools of thought in psychology over the past 150 years, the role of the brain, what compels us to act, the nature of emotion, how we learn, and a host of other fascinating and relevant subjects.

Students will study fascinating subjects such as how we develop from conception to infancy to adulthood, the nature of consciousness, how we think, the role of language in our development, emotional intelligence, and different theories of personality.
Enlightium Academy high school students will have the opportunity to study the works of C.S. Lewis, one of the most significant and influential Christian thinkers of the 20th century. This course is tailored to entertain and engage students so that upon leaving high school, they are equipped with a solid, philosophical foundation for the Christian faith.
1.0 credit: Grades 9-12This high school CTE elective helps students understand the role of allied health care professionals in the overall health care environment. The online course also provides an overview of the academic preparation required to enter the field, including necessary skills, licenses, credentials, and continuing education options.
