Ms. Kramer studied business administration at Furman University and earned a Masters in Teaching from Converse College. She worked in the world of banking and finance for ten years prior to discovering her love for teaching and has been teaching and tutoring since 2005.

Ms. Kramer enjoys traveling with her family and has been actively involved in her church’s children’s ministry for several years. She is passionate about helping her students reach their goals both in and out of the classroom. She enjoys running and exploring the beautiful parks and beaches in her hometown of Charleston, South Carolina.

Carla holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington and was happy to join Enlightium Academy in 2023. She worked in the senior care industry for the last 10+ years as an Activities (or Program) Director in a wide variety of senior communities. She felt blessed to have the job of helping others enrich their lives, simply by creating opportunities for them to thrive. Mrs. Potter is ACSI certified. 

At Enlightium Academy, she feels blessed again in her work helping the Admissions and EA101 Team, where she assists new and returning families and students who choose to enrich their lives through quality, Christian-based, education and experiences.

Carla lives just outside of the city of Spokane, near Long Lake, in Nine Mile Falls with her husband and one really spoiled kitty! Outside of work, she enjoys activities that include boating, bike riding, golfing, fishing, scenic day trips…and shopping, of course!

Mrs. Johnson graduated from Moody Bible Institute Spokane in 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages with an Interdisciplinary in Intercultural Studies. She is ACSI certified.

Mrs. Johnson has been a member of the Enlightium team since 2017, teaching both middle and high school English. Her favorite teaching experiences are “light bulb” moments when a student grasps a challenging concept. She has a passion for mentoring and seeing students grow to reach their full potential both in Christ and in their studies. In her free time, she enjoys going on walks with her family, cross-stitching, and baking.

Alli Bronsch joined Enlightium in 2023 as a member of the Billing Department. She is driven by a desire to make homeschooling more affordable and accessible for families in a variety of situations. Shortly after joining Enlightium, Alli began focusing on streamlining the billing process for families using state vouchers, and she has played a key role in expanding Enlightium’s ability to accept state vouchers, so many more students can access quality Christian education tailored to their needs, while minimizing the financial impact on families.

Outside of work, Alli enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She is also always seeking to know more about the world and the God who created it. 

Mrs. Burghart was born and raised in the Spokane area. Raised a small town country girl, she moved to the big city after graduating with a Bachelors in Communications from CWU. A few years later she married her college sweetheart. She has two children (one married and one in college) a cat, and a dog. She began teaching preschool when her children were in elementary school and has been teaching ever since. She received her Masters in Teaching and has private school teaching experience in Kindergarten, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. She spent several years as both a long-term and permanent substitute teacher in a local school district. Mrs. Burghart is ACSI-certified.

In her spare time, Chandra enjoys hiking, walking, quilting, knitting, hand embroidery, reading, and cooking. Her favorite hike was when she and her family climbed Mt. St. Helens. She loves baseball, football, and basketball. You will find her cheering on the Mariners, Seahawks, and the Zags. Family is very important to Chandra, and she spends as much time with them as possible.

Chandra is passionate about teaching kids to be life-long learners and followers of Christ. She loves worshiping the Lord. She looks forward to meeting Enlightium families and helping them meet their academic and spiritual goals.

Mrs. Machen has been serving in teaching ministries for several years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in biblical studies from Moody Bible Institute. She is ACSI certified.

God has given Mrs. Machen a deep love for scripture and a desire to help others grow in their understanding and love of God’s Word. Her prayer for herself and her students is that the Holy Spirit will cultivate the fruits of the spirit in their lives and continually transform them into the image of Christ.

Mrs. Machen joined Enlightium Academy in 2018. She enjoys building relationships with students as a Teaching Assistant for the Bible Department.

Natalya Pastarnak has been dedicated to education since 2008. She began working with the Enlightium Academy accounting team in 2017 and was later promoted to Billing Specialist. She is passionate about Christian education and creating the best possible family experience.

Natalya and her husband reside in Texas, but her family lives in Washington. They both love to travel and be Leaders in production ministry in their home church. In her free time, Natalya enjoys long walks, spending time with family, and cooking.

Kim Vogler has been in education for 33 years. She taught for 6 years and has been a counselor for 27 years. She has experience at all grade levels, with the most experience being in high school.  She has lots of experience from being a Lead Counselor to crisis counseling, mediation, and more. Kim came to Enlightium 3 years ago and is currently the high school counselor for students whose last names begin with A and L-M.  She is also the College and Career Program Coordinator.

Personally, Kim and her husband reside in Lampasas, Texas. They have 2 adult children, lots of cats, and 2 rabbits. They love living in the country and love to travel, whenever possible.

Melody has a business background and dedicated 22 years to accounting before entering education. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies from Azusa Pacific University in 2019. Melody began her teaching career in 2020, teaching middle school math while pursuing her Master’s Degree in teaching.

Melody began at Enlightium Academy as a secondary math teacher in 2021 and received her Master's Degree in 2022. Melody loves working with students and families and, at the start of the 2023/2024 school year, became Enlightium’s High School Vice Principal.

Melody and her family reside in a little town in Tennessee. They love working on their little farm, including four dogs, a horse, and a donkey. 

Mrs. Price received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Mississippi State University and her Master’s Degree focusing on Secondary Education - English. She has been teaching English since 2012 at both the secondary and collegiate level. Mrs. Price currently lives in Mississippi with her husband, Madison, and their two young children: a vivacious four-year-old, Lawson, and an outgoing six-year-old, Marin. Mrs. Price is ACSI-certified.

She is a theater person at heart and enjoys both directing and acting in plays and musicals, though her favorite is performing in musicals. She has been active in theatrical shows for 25 years and has been honored and thrilled to perform numerous titular roles on stage. She enjoys being able to continue using her talents to treat her teaching lessons as a performance and keep the students engaged.

Mrs. Wade earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of LA at Monroe and went on to earn a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Upon realizing her purpose to support students in achieving success in education, she decided to pursue a career in School Counseling. Therefore, she earned a 2nd Master’s degree in School Counseling from Capella University. She has also since earned a Graduate Certificate in Contemporary Mental Health Services from Capella University as well.

Mrs. Wade has had several years working in the social services sector in the past. She loves working with people to provide supportive services that can enhance their daily lives. She was able to transfer the skills from social services into her role as a School Counselor at Enlightium, in which she has held the position of High School Counselor for 3 years now. Her goal is to continue to serve the students of Enlightium to provide them with the support they need academically, socially/emotionally, as well as career-related.

Mr. White has over 20 years of teaching experience, specializing in Elementary Computer and Digital Ethics. He also has worked with Special Education students and holds academic credentials from Liberty University and Ligonier School of Biblical and Theological Studies (now Reformation Bible College), as well as professional certifications from Harvard and Bar-Ilan University.

Mr. White is involved in a House Church ministry in Houston and enjoys spending leisure time with friends, reading, watching movies, writing poetry, and practicing martial arts.

Marina Ustimenko has been dedicated to education since 2015. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Whitworth University and began her teaching career at a small private school shortly thereafter. In 2020, she joined the counseling team at Enlightium Academy, where she has since embraced a variety of roles.

Marina is passionate about Christian education and takes great joy in seeing her students grow academically, spiritually, and personally. She is committed to fostering a love of learning, nurturing each student's unique potential, and promoting the development of strong character and lifelong values. Marina holds ACSI certification.

Marina and her husband live in Washington, close to their families and friends. They share their home with two beloved dogs, Milo and Skye. In her free time, Marina enjoys coffee, long walks, reading, and traveling.

Mrs. Bean holds a Bachelor’s degree from Liberty University in Elementary Education and Interdisciplinary Studies and an Associate’s Degree from Johnson University in Intercultural Studies. She is a licensed teacher in the state of Virginia and taught in public schools for four years before joining Enlightium. Mrs. Bean is ACSI certified.

Mrs. Bean lives in Virginia with her husband and daughter. She and her husband are youth leaders at their church and they love working with the teenagers. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, playing board games, reading books and going outdoors.

Shana Farris received a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University. She worked in industrial sales and telecommunications account management before becoming a stay-at-home and homeschooling mom for 14 years. During those years, she was also a member of the leadership team of their homeschool co-op and tutored math as well as SAT/ACT/ISEE/SSAT prep. Prior to joining Enlightium Academy’s Alliance Program team in 2024, Shana was a Client Specialist and tutor for a local tutoring company.

When Shana is not working, she enjoys spending time with her two daughters and her dog. She also enjoys watching movies, exploring her city, spending time outside, and learning new things.
