Employing the latest multi-media techniques including graphics, games, and other activities, Enlightium Academy uses a curriculum that fosters a rich learning environment. The Ignitia™ curriculum, which was created by Alpha Omega Publications (AOP), is based on a learner-centered model drawing from current educational research.
Students can enroll in our high school, middle school or elementary school as their primary school or as a supplement to another educational program. From Spanish to AP Chemistry, Enlightium Academy offers a broad range of courses to help each student reach their full potential. We provide a complete core curriculum at each grade level, plus many electives and advanced courses for expanded learning opportunities.
We accept enrollment anytime throughout the school year. Online courses are offered for all AOP Ignitia™ programs and correspondence courses are available for high school and credit recovery.
The Enlightium Academy curriculum covers all core subjects including Math, Science, History, Language Arts and Bible. With more than 40 courses in the core subject areas, Ignitia™ offers a solid foundation for your child’s education.
Enlightium Academy students have the opportunity to take any of our more than 43 elective courses, including business computer information systems, business courses, two world languages and many more.
Enlightium Academy offers more than 20 advanced courses for grades 8-12. High school students looking for more challenges can take Honors or Advanced Placement courses to give them an extra edge in college.
Enlightium Academy Curriculum Overview
Reignite the passion of learning with the newest learning management system from Alpha Omega Publications. Built exclusively for Christian schools, this comprehensive curriculum for students in grades 3 through 12 includes lessons in five core subject areas: Bible, language arts, math, science, and history and geography, with a diverse list of electives also available. Ignitia courses are not only rigorous and interactive, but provide instruction based on a Christian worldview, encouraging students to consider challenging questions from a biblical perspective.
Courses include text-based lessons, assignments, quizzes, and tests that engage students while they learn. Optional external web links, interactive learning games, audio and video clips, and off-computer assignments help students develop the skills necessary for academic success in a media-rich environment.

Ignitia Electives for Grades 3-12
Students today need more than the basics to succeed after high school. Ignitia's electives were developed to ensure a diverse slate of rigorous online courses that today's families expect from an academic environment. From practical courses including business computer information systems and physical fitness to college preparatory courses such as trigonometry and world languages, students can fill out their schedules with courses that appeal to them and meet the needs they require for their future. Some electives are geared toward students with specific needs such as advanced U.S. history, advanced calculus, and GED preparatory courses in core subject areas. All courses are Bible-based and geared toward helping students build a Christian worldview that will stay with them throughout adulthood.
