March: Fostering Literacy, Nurturing Spirituality, and Ensuring Future Approval

March focuses on the current school year and preparation for the upcoming school year.
Designate March as “Reading Month”, which provides students with a dedicated focus on literacy. Various activities, challenges, and events should be organized to foster a love for literature and enhance students' reading skills. Whether through reading contests, author visits, or themed book fairs, “Reading Month” creates a vibrant literary atmosphere that extends across classrooms and the entire school.
March is also marked by the organization of the Annual Fundraising event. This initiative serves as a crucial component of the school's financial planning, providing essential resources to support various academic and extracurricular programs. Whether through community outreach, sponsorships, or organized events, the Annual Fundraising effort aims to strengthen the school's financial stability and enhance the overall educational experience for students.
March is a pivotal month as the school initiates the process of seeking your state Private School Annual Approval for the next academic year. This involves compliance with regulatory requirements and submission of necessary documentation. Securing approval ensures the continued operation and accreditation of the private school, setting the stage for ongoing academic excellence.
As the month progresses, the school community gathers for a Special Chapel dedicated to the celebration of Easter. This service allows faculty and students to reflect on the significance of Easter and God’s sacrificial love and salvation. The Easter Celebration Chapel contributes to the spiritual support of the school community.
During March, the administration team can plan for faculty and staff members to submit a letter of intent for the next school year. The letter of intent is a formal document expressing an educator's commitment and interest in continuing their employment with the school. While it is not a binding contract, a letter of intent assists school administration in planning for staffing needs for the upcoming school year.
The culmination of academic assessments and activities in March signifies the end of the third quarter. This period represents a significant checkpoint in the academic calendar, allowing teachers, students, and parents to reflect on progress, achievements, and areas for improvement. The conclusion of the third quarter sets the stage for the final stretch of the school year, prompting necessary adjustments and preparations for the upcoming quarter.
In summary, March is a month encompassing literacy promotion, financial planning, spiritual reflection, regulatory compliance, and academic assessment. The emphasis on reading underscores the school's commitment to holistic education, while the Annual Fundraising event contributes to the sustainability of the school's mission.

This was our first year with Enlightium Academy and I love it for my daughter! She has grown so much spiritually and academically! The weight of having to do it all has been lifted since I have 3 small children as well. We feel supported in our homeschool life!
This program is really focused on a good education for your kids.
The ability to adapt to our child’s learning challenges made for a smooth transition bringing joy that she is actually learning now and retaining the knowledge. We can not wait to tackle another year!

Enlightium academy has helped me so much in the homeschooling of my son. They have worked with our scheduling and been there with answers to any questions we've had. They have made this a wonderful experience.
I love the curriculum given to my kids and the teachers are very helpful. My kids are making way better grades with this program then they did in public school.
Enlightium Academy ended up being everything I was looking for. It offers a good, flexible curriculum that truly accommodates my schedule without sacrificing learning. Most importantly, they teach the Bible in such an amazing way. It’s just perfect—I don’t regret being part of this school for a moment.
