Familiarize students with career options in the manufacturing industry with this Career and Technical Education (CTE) elective. Introduction to Careers in Manufacturing starts by exploring the economic effect of manufacturing in the United States and abroad. It then moves on to cover topics including process improvements, safety and regulations, career options, and advanced manufacturing. The semester-long course falls within the manufacturing career cluster.
