Change is hard. During the COVID pandemic, countless schools were forced to adapt, and this led to an unprecedented number of K-12 students completing their school work virtually. Although the worst of the pandemic is behind us, many students have continued seeking online options for their education. Now, school leaders are in the position to consider their long-term strategic plan regarding online schooling.
At Enlightium, we are lending a hand to school leaders by providing a flexible solution that can fit their specific needs. Enlightium Academy is a premier, accredited, private Christian online school for students in grades 3–12, as well as a textbook curriculum for students in grades PreK–2.
Enlightium has been perfecting the online school experience since it was founded in 2003 and is helping dozens of schools establish a virtual option.
Enlightium’s Alliance Program works directly with small schools, churches, and homeschool co-ops to provide online learning solutions to students based on the needs of their organization. Schools can easily move all of their students online or just a particular grade level or subgroup. The flexibility of Enlightium’s learning model allows schools to use online learning as a supplement to their current offerings or to build a hybrid program in their community.
Enlightium also offers varying packages of academic support from certified teachers based on the needs of the partnering school. The partnering school decides which students or grade levels will require support from Enlightium’s teachers and which students will be supported locally. Best of all, private Christian schools can rest easy knowing that their students are interacting with high-quality Christian educators while utilizing a curriculum that maintains a biblical worldview. Enlightium Academy is accredited by Cognia and the Association of Christian Schools International, so graduating seniors receive a diploma recognized by colleges and universities in the United States.

About The Author
Thomas Lambert has more than 15 years of experience as a teacher and administrator in public and private education. He taught Spanish and math in public and private schools before coming to work for Enlightium Academy in 2015. He holds master’s and specialist’s degrees in Educational Leadership and is currently pursuing his doctorate in Educational Leadership at William Carey University. Mr. Lambert is ACSI and Mississippi state-certified.
As Enlightium Academy’s superintendent, Mr. Lambert is dedicated to developing a positive school culture that nurtures an atmosphere conducive to learning. He believes that partnering with parents is paramount in ensuring each child continues to grow academically and spiritually.
Mr. Lambert has been married since 2010 and has three wonderful children. He loves outdoor activities like camping and playing disc golf, but he loves spending time with his wife and children most of all. In addition to his time in education, Mr. Lambert has served in various ministerial roles including both worship and pastoral ministry as well as church planting. He currently serves as the worship pastor in his local church.
