Enlightium Academy offers both self-paced and live teacher-led online learning:

• Online Program: Self-paced, accredited Christian online private school with three levels of teacher support
• Book-Based with Video Program: Self-paced, accredited Christian private school using textbooks paired with video lessons, with a teacher-coordinator directing instruction, grading, and progress; the parent serves as the at-home instructional partner under teacher guidance‍
• Enlightium Prep Online:  Live-mentored, accredited online Christian private school with live instructional sessions, daily Study Hall, 1:1 video and phone teacher support, and STREAM enrichment projects‍
• Enlightium Prep Campus: Christ-centered, in-person, accredited private school with structured learning, personalized support, and hands-on STREAM projects

One of the benefits of Enlightium Academy is flexibility.

Students in the Online and Book-Based Programs have the freedom to work during the hours that best fit their schedule. Check out Enlightium's suggested daily planner for an example of an Enlightium student's schedule.

Students can follow a Monday–Thursday schedule, with Fridays typically left open, and work with counselors to create customized academic plans, making Enlightium ideal for working parents and student-athletes.

While students have flexibility in their schedule, they should plan to complete each week's work by Sunday night. Due dates are provided within Ignitia or Canvas to help students to stay on track. Students do not lose credit for missing deadlines, as long as all work is submitted by the course's end date.

Parents receive progress emails that show if a student is on track or behind. If a student is falling behind, they can use evenings, weekends, and holidays to catch up; please note that there are a few Down Days during the school year during which time students do not have access to courses, such as during quarter breaks. If a student works ahead, they have the option to complete the school year early.

Parental involvement depends on grade level. Parents are more hands-on in PreKindergarten–elementary school (grades PreK-5), less involved in middle school (grades 6-8), and primarily monitor progress in high school (grades 9-12). Enlightium partners with parents at every stage to ensure student success.

For the most part, Enlightium’s teachers and the Ignitia platform do most of the support, but parents may need to help students from time to time. Parents are responsible for holding their student accountable for meeting course progress requirements.

Faith is the foundation of all learning and every worldview. For our curriculum, the Christian faith roots and frames our instruction, Bible courses, character development, and spiritual formation opportunities. Enlightium provides a faith-based online curriculum that nurtures both academic excellence and spiritual maturity.

Enlightium Academy is a private school accredited by both Cognia and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI); therefore, credits awarded by Enlightium are typically accepted at any K-12 school, college, or university nationwide, and are recognized internationally.

Yes. Graduates receive a diploma and official transcripts, accepted by colleges, universities, and employers across the United States. Your student’s Enlightium counselor will work alongside your family to identify and assign all courses required to meet graduation requirements.

Yes. Enlightium Academy generally accepts transfer credits from other accredited schools and allows students to transfer credits earned with us to other accredited institutions, subject to academic review.

Tuition varies by grade level, curriculum, and level of teacher support, including book-based and online options. Current pricing and payment plans are available on our Tuition & Admissions page.

Tuition includes Christian curriculum, certified teacher support, grading, academic records, transcripts, and a diploma for graduates—providing a complete online Christian school experience. Some support packages also include live group sessions and one-on-one tutoring.

Enlightium Academy is transparent about pricing. While the annual tuition covers most costs, some additional costs may apply, including a custom payment plan fee, book purchases (book-based option), optional add-ons/electives, and some incidental fees.

Enlightium offers open enrollment, which means students can start at any time. Students can begin:

• During the summer, using Early Start.
• At the Standard Start of the school year.
• Mid-school year.

Students who have already completed some coursework at another school can enroll at Enlightium at any time during the school year. After the admissions process, their Enlightium counselor will help create a course schedule that best fits the student and their progress at their previous school. While not every course can be matched, counselors will do their best to make schedules as close as possible.

Students enrolling at or after the semester point will have tuition prorated.
