After studying three years at Word of Life’s Bible Institute in Argentina, Mr. Riess received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies from Truett McConnell University and is currently pursuing his Master's Degree in Biblical Studies at Reformed Theological Seminary. Mr. Riess is further ACSI-certified. While his desire is to help his students grasp the glorious beauty of Christ and God's word, his main goal is to teach students that it is more important to truly believe instead of only knowing about God and His word.

Mr. Riess was born and raised in Germany, but spent the last 11 years mainly in South and North America, working with students and young adults. He is passionate about languages, the Bible, theology, and evangelism. In his free time, he loves to spend time with his wife and friends, preferably outside or in good restaurants.
