Mrs. Irina Feofanova

Russian Teacher

Mrs. Irina is a native Russian speaker, born and raised in the oldest town in Russia, Velikiy Novgorod.  She holds a Master's degree in Law from the University of Arkansas (2009) and has received two advanced professional training degrees in teaching Russian as a foreign language: one from Lomonosov Moscow State University (2014) and another from the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute (2018). Throughout her teaching career, Mrs. Feofanova has served as an adjunct instructor at the University of Arkansas and has taught Russian and English as a second language for over ten years

Community service, strong dedication to the family, and raising her own trilingual children led Mrs. Feofanova to change her career path from legal research to teaching Russian. Her play-based and hands-on teaching approach has primarily led her to work with school-age children.

“We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach…” Romans 12:6-7
