Mrs. Galyean graduated in 2024 from Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, Texas, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art and a minor in Graphic Design. During her time in college, Mrs. Galyean began substitute teaching grades K-12, but later found herself in a long-term position for K-5th Self-Contained Special Education. Upon graduating, she began teaching art, theatre, and graphic design at the high school level. Along with directing One Act Plays. She has a passion for students and education, and is excited to be at Enlightium.

Mrs. Galyean comes from a long line of educators so she has always known that someday, somehow, she too would end up teaching. When Mrs. Galyean isn’t teaching, you can often find her traveling, at a sporting event, or spending time with her family. She was born and raised in Arkansas. She and her husband welcomed their first baby boy in 2025, and they reside in West Texas. She enjoys creating, crafting, and lots of coffee.
