Mrs. Christie began her career working for the Department of Energy at Hanford in Richland, Washington, before relocating to Spokane to complete her Bachelor’s Degree at Washington State University. She left the workforce just prior to the birth of her first child and was a stay-at-home mom until joining Enlightium Academy. She homeschooled her children while teaching English, writing, and various other subjects within the homeschool co-op. She has focused much of her time volunteering for her church, serving on various committees, and recording the minutes for every meeting.

Mrs. Christie lives in Nine Mile Falls, Washington, with her husband of 25 years and their two cats. The Christies have two daughters, one of whom lives in the area, while the other lives in Montana. She loves traveling, shopping, amassing purses and shoes, volunteering for her church, and spending time with family and lifelong friends who live nearby.
