Mrs. Rachel Stark
Bible Teacher
Mrs. Stark received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Calvary University in Kansas City, MO, and her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University in Portland, OR. She has participated in a variety of educational endeavors over the past 20 years, including hybrid homeschooling and eventually full-time homeschooling her two children through high school graduation, teaching in the classroom, serving as middle school principal, coaching basketball, and teaching Sunday school. Mrs. Stark prioritizes building relationships with students and helping them to understand the “why”, not just the “what”. She desires that her students would learn to love God well with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to represent Him excellently to others. Mrs. Stark is ACSI-certified.
Mrs. Stark lives in Kansas City, MO, with her husband of 26 years. She and her husband have two sons - their oldest just got married in March 2026 and currently works full-time on staff at their church. Their younger son is starting his second year of college and also works as a manager at Panera. Mrs. Stark and her family enjoy serving in various ministries at church, as well as spending time together playing games or just sharing a meal. She enjoys watching sports (especially cheering on the KC Chiefs and KU Jayhawks!), playing pickleball, hosting gatherings at her home, playing board games, reading, and sometimes running, which tends to conflict with her love of ice cream.
