Ms. Smith graduated from Jackson State University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2016. Upon graduating, she began her career journey in child developmental psychology. She worked with a social-emotional learning (SEL) early intervention program for children created to prevent suicide and other severe emotional development crises. She later went on to become a behavioral therapist for young children with autism.

Through a radical change of heart after encountering Christ, Ms. Smith redirected her academic and career focus to serving in ministry. She received a Master of Arts degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from Belhaven University in 2023 and is currently working on a PhD in Bible Exposition at Liberty University. She spends her free time fully devoted to serving her church family (and watching YouTube videos as time allows).

By way of prayer and fasting, the Lord led Ms. Smith to Enlightium Academy in May of 2024, where she serves as the Superintendent’s Assistant. She is constantly in awe at the incredible work God is doing at Enlightium and is graciously humbled to be a part of it all!
