Enlightium Academy offers the Ignitia™ Christian curriculum which is based on a learner-centered model, employing the latest multimedia techniques, including graphics, games, and other activities.

High School Curriculum Overview

Bible

1 course/credit per year

Bible is a required course at Enlightium per ACSI accreditation requirements. Your student’s Enlightium counselor will assign a Bible course for your grade level in a particular order.

English

Some English courses are available as an Honor course

One English course is required for each high school year per graduation requirements. English courses typically follow a particular order. However, in some cases, your student’s Enlightium counselor may recommend an alternative English course that will meet your student’s unique skills or needs.

History

Designed for the students to have exciting adventures in creativity, build confidence, stretch the imagination, and develop reading and memorization skills.

Intro to Filmmaking*

Learn the art of filmmaking from start to finish in this 18-section course. Students learn filmmaking, film history, and film analysis all in one course. Students create a short film and turn it in for review from a professional filmmaker and teacher.

Students will acquire the tools necessary to read much of their New Testament in Greek without the full rigor of a college-level course.
