What You Need to Get Started at Enlightium Academy

Are you considering enrolling in Enlightium Academy? We are excited to welcome your family to our community of students, parents, and dedicated educators. To help make the enrollment process as smooth as possible, we have outlined the key steps required to get started at Enlightium Academy. Let's dive in and get you on your way to academic success!

Step 1: Explore our Programs and Courses

The first step is to determine which program best fits your student's educational needs and your family's goals. Enlightium Academy offers a wide range of options for students in grades PreK–12, including:

• Standard courses
• Honors courses
• Advanced Placement (AP) courses
• Online and Book-Based learning options
• Multiple levels of teacher support

Take time to review the available programs and curriculum options to determine which educational path is the best fit for your student.

Step 2: Complete the Enrollment Application

Once you have decided on your desired program, it's time to fill out our online application. Our application process is simple and can be completed in less than 20 minutes. You will need to complete the application in its entirety to ensure we have all of the needed information. Once complete, you will receive a confirmation if it is successfully submitted.

Step 3: Submit Previous School Records and Required Documentation

To complete the admissions process, Enlightium Academy must receive your student's educational records and supporting documentation.

If Your Student Previously Attended a School

Our Records Team will contact the school directly using the information provided on the enrollment application to request records.

If Your Student Was Previously Homeschooled

Our Records Team will send the primary parent a homeschool records template to complete and return.

In addition to previous school records, we will need a document to verify your student’s date of birth and may request immunization records per your state’s guidelines.

Once the above steps are complete, the Admissions process is finalized, and your student will be transitioned to their counselor for review and class assignment.

Step 4: Complete the Entrance Assessment

After the enrollment application has been submitted, your student may be assigned an Entrance Assessment in Language Arts and Math.

The assessment helps determine your student's current academic level and assists the counselor in making appropriate course placement recommendations.

The primary parent listed on the enrollment application will receive an email notification with instructions for accessing and completing the assessment.

Step 5: Counselor Review and Class Assignment

Once the school records, any other required documentation and if required, Entrance Assessment have been received, the Admissions process is complete. 

Your student’s counselor will be notified to review the received documentation to determine appropriate course assignment and class schedule finalization.
