What You Need to Get Started at Enlightium Academy

Are you considering enrolling in Enlightium Academy? We are excited to welcome you to our community of dedicated teachers and students. But before you can start your journey with us, there are a few steps you need to take in our admissions process. Don't worry; we've made it easy for you by outlining everything you need to get started at Enlightium Academy. Let's dive in and get you on your way to academic success!
Step 1: Explore our Programs and Courses
The first step to getting started at Enlightium Academy is to explore our programs and courses. We offer a wide range of options for students in grades PK-12, including standard, honors, and AP courses. Depending on your student’s grade level and your family’s preference, different levels of teacher support are available. Take some time to familiarize yourself with the different options and decide which program aligns best with your academic goals and needs.
Step 2: Fill Out the Online Application
Once you have decided on your desired program, it's time to fill out our online application. Our application process is simple and can be completed in less than 20 minutes. You will need to complete the application in its entirety to ensure we have all of the needed information. Once complete, you will receive a confirmation if it is successfully submitted.
Step 3: Complete the Entrance Assessment
After submitting your application, your student will be required to complete an Entrance Assessment for language arts and math. These tests are designed to assess your student’s current academic level. The assessment is used by the counselor in conjunction with the previous school records for class assignment.
The primary parent noted on the enrollment application will receive a notification email once the Entrance Assessment is assigned with instructions for logging in and completing the assessment.
Step 4: Submit Previous School Records
If you noted on your student’s enrollment application that they previously attended school, our Records Team will reach out to that school using the information you provided.
If you noted that your student was previously homeschooled, our Records Team will send an email to the primary parent on file with a homeschool template to be completed.
In addition to previous school records, we will need a document to verify your student’s date of birth and may request immunization records per your state’s guidelines.
Once the above steps are complete, the Admissions process is finalized, and your student will be transitioned to their counselor for review and class assignment.

About The Author
Reshanna has a triple AAS business degree in Business, Marketing, and Management. Reshanna joined the Enlightium Academy Progress Department in 2017. Since that time she has been involved in the development of the Bridge and Intervention Programs, and the EA 101 Program. In 2024, Reshanna took on the Role of Associate Director of Admissions. Reshanna very much enjoys serving Enlightium’s families with care and support.
Outside of work, Reshanna is heavily involved in her church by leading the Women’s Ministry team, leading the women’s Bible studies, as well as being a church board and Emergency Response Team secretary and member for her church. Reshanna enjoys spending time with her family and her church family, reading books when she has time, and spending time outside. Reshanna and her husband have three grown children, one still at home and a 5-year-old grandson that they help raise. Reshanna loves being a nana!
