Mrs. Sellars received her Bachelor's degree in Secondary English Education from Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL and later received a Gifted and Talented endorsement from Converse College in Spartanburg, SC. She has spent the last 25 years teaching English in a variety of educational settings, including public and private schools, remote teaching, and homeschool co-op teaching. In addition to English, she has also taught drama for the past three years in local homeschool co-ops. She believes the pathway to learning is unique for each student and relies on her faith in God to help students reach their best selves. Mrs. Sellars is ACSI-certified.

Mrs. Sellars enjoys her two dogs, camping, swimming, and going to the beach with her family. She also loves leisurely activities on the lake such as paddle-boarding, kayaking, and canoeing.
