New student enrollment for the 2023-2024 school year opens on February 1, 2023! Returning students can re-enroll starting January 6, 2023.

Enlightium Academy offers an education that is both academically challenging and rooted in a biblical worldview. Regardless of where your student is in their educational journey, we seek to work alongside your student by supporting, guiding, and bringing them to the next academic level. Our counselors review all incoming students’ report cards for grades K-8 and transcripts for grades 9-12, analyze entrance assessment results, and work with parents to develop an academic plan specific to every student’s needs and goals.

Enlightium Academy admits students of any race, color, sex, national, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at Enlightium. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, national, or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship, athletic, and other school-administered programs.

Admissions Process

Step 1

Pay the Enrollment Fee and Submit the Enrollment Form

Grades PreK-12

Pay the $250 enrollment fee and complete the enrollment form for each new student. The enrollment fee is non-refundable after 72 hours. The enrollment form will need to be completed using a laptop or desktop computer, not a smartphone or tablet.

Returning families received via email a pre-filled re-enrollment form for the 2023-2024 school year; email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. if you need your re-enrollment form to be resent.

Step 2

Send Enlightium the Student's Report Card/Transcript

Grades K-12

Once your student has completed the current school year, talk to your previous school about their withdrawal policies to ensure that Enlightium receives all records in a timely manner. Your family will also be provided the opportunity to submit records during the enrollment process.

Step 3

Complete the Entrance Assessment

Grades 3-12

An entrance assessment is typically assigned:

  • If enrolling on or before May 14, 2023, by May 15th
  • If enrolling on or after May 14, 2023, within three school days of submitting the enrollment form

The entrance assessment should be completed by the student as soon as possible for classes to be assigned on time. They are used by the student’s counselor, along with records and the parents’ input, to help determine course assignments.

Step 4

Review/Confirm Student’s Schedule with the Counselor

Grades PreK-12

Students’ course schedules should be assigned based on when you submitted their enrollment form*:

  • February, 2023 - your student's schedule no later than the week of June 26, 2023.
  • March, 2023 - your student's schedule no later than the week of July 10, 2023.
  • April, 2023 - your student's schedule no later than the week of July 17, 2023.
  • May, 2023 - your student's schedule no later than the week of July 24, 2023.
  • June, 2023 - your student's schedule no later than the week of July 31, 2023.
  • July, 2023 - your student's schedule no later than the week of August 7, 2023.
  • August, 2023 or later - your student’s counselor will prepare course schedules in the order in which enrollment forms are processed

*Dates are not definitive; variables that may delay course assignment include a delay in receiving records, students needing to retake previous courses, and deciding to take additional courses.

Step 5

Complete the Student and Parent Orientations

Grades PreK-12

The Student Orientation

The Student Orientation course is required for students in grades 3–12; there is no Student Orientation for grades prek-2.

The Student Orientation is assigned to students around their desired start date and covers:

  • School features, resources, and policies
  • Grade level-specific advice
  • Video testimonies from Enlightium students

The Parent Orientation

The Parent Orientation course is required for all parents. It covers:

  • Resources for your family
  • Video testimonies from Enlightium parents and students
  • Where to find the updated Family Handbook, supply lists, and project forecasts

The Parent Orientation is a video series that will be available in the menu of the Enlightium Parents app in August of 2023.

Step 6

Review Your State’s Education Requirements

Grades PreK-12

Enlightium Academy is a private Christian school that is accredited by Cognia and the Association of Christian Schools International and serves homeschool, online, and co-op school students in grades K-12. Since most of our students study from home settings, some states view our students as homeschoolers, therefore requiring them to follow their state’s homeschool requirements.

Enlightium Academy is a private Christian school serving homeschool, online, and Alliance school students on their journey to embrace their God-given talents and develop a lifelong thirst for knowledge from the biblical worldview.
