Founder & Executive Director
Elena V. Solodyankin has more than 30 years of experience in the field of education. She founded an online Christian school in 2003, which is now Enlightium Academy. Since then, she guided the development of seven brick and mortar private schools along the west coast within church communities.
Mrs. Solodyankin has spoken at numerous educational conferences about the need for personalized Christian education and how she applied it to raising her three biological and five adopted children. She holds an M.Ed. in K-12 Guidance & Counseling from Whitworth University and is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in Leadership at Gonzaga University. Elena is ACSI and state-certified. Throughout her career, she has been devoted to preparing the next generation of godly leaders by making a difference in their hearts and minds.
Aleksandr Solodyankin Jr. graduated from Whitworth University Cum Laude with a B.A. double major in accounting and marketing and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and is now obtaining a CPA certification. He has worked in the education field since 2006 in the capacity as a math teacher, chief financial officer, and school administrator. He is certified by ACSI.
He is a lifelong learner, passionate about helping others reach greater heights in all realms of life. A foundational principle of his is that each individual is made in the image of God, has intrinsic value and God-given abilities, and that to steward God’s creation well, these abilities must be further developed and used for God’s glory.
Thomas Lambert is passionate about using innovative approaches to provide students with unique learning models to meet their individual needs. He loves working to integrate technology with proven instructional strategies.
Thomas Lambert graduated from William Carey University with a B.S. in Mathematics and a minor in Spanish. He taught Spanish and math for five years in public and private schools before coming to work for Enlightium Academy in 2015. Thomas is finishing his Master’s degree in Educational Leadership at Eastern Washington University. He is ACSI and state-certified.
He has been married since 2010 and has two children, Titus and Linen Grey. He loves outdoor activities like camping, playing disc golf, and making wooden toys in his workshop.
Dean of Academics
Since joining Enlightium Academy in 2011, Irina has worked tirelessly on developing policies and structures for a fast-growing institution. In 2018, her focus shifted to the quality of instruction, curriculum development, and staffing.
Irina Martin began her education career as a secondary English teacher in a traditional classroom after graduating with her bachelor’s degree from Pensacola Christian College (PCC) in 2006. In 2009, Irina obtained her Master of Educational Administration degree from PCC. She holds an ACSI professional certificate.
She is a firm believer that all students are capable of succeeding in academics when given a clear presentation with adequate repetition and time to digest new information. Her chief goal is to assure that all of Enlightium's students are well prepared to succeed in higher education.
Will Mead graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Biology from Eastern Washington University and holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Seattle Pacific University. He holds state and ACSI certifications. Before joining Enlightium, he worked in local, brick and mortar, private schools and, earlier in his career, as a scientist in a clinical laboratory. Will joined Enlightium as a science teacher in 2017, then served in administration before entering his current role as K-12 Principal. He is certified by ACSI.
Will and his wife married in 2006 and have three children. In his free time, Will enjoys reading works of science and philosophy, playing chess, and watching musical theatre.
Spiritual Support Director
Heath Robertson received his B.A. in Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute where he completed the Honors Program for Semitic Languages. He has completed his M.A. in Biblical and Theological Studies with an emphasis in exegetical studies at Western Seminary where he received the honors award for Old Testament exegesis. He is certified by ACSI.
Heath finds great fulfillment in his roles as a teacher and Spiritual Support Director at Enlightium. He enjoys running 5Ks and 10Ks in his free time.
Director of High School Counseling Department
As the Director of Enlightium Academy’s High School Counseling Department, Mrs. Yohe collaborates with Enlightium’s Administration Team and other Department Heads to support a Christ-centered high school counseling program that benefits students, parents, teachers, administrators, and Enlightium’s overall learning environment.
Mrs. Yohe has been with Enlightium Academy since 2017. She earned her bachelor's degree in Education from Lewis-Clark State College. While raising eight children, she earned her Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling and graduated cum laude from City University of Seattle. Currently, Mrs. Yohe is earning her Doctorate in Education with an emphasis in eLearning and is currently magna cum laude at Northcentral University. Mrs. Yohe is an ESA and ACSI certified guidance counselor with a Professional Teaching Certificate.
During her spare time, she and her husband enjoy camping, hiking, reading, and spending quality time with their children.
Director of K-8 Counseling Department
Marina has been working with Enlightium Academy since 2009. She earned her a bachelor's degree in Social Services from Whitworth University. She is certified by ACSI.
Marina was heavily involved in developing the Enlightium counseling and admissions departments and contributed to the expansion of many other areas of our rapidly growing school. Marina’s primary role is to serve middle school students. She loves working with parents and students and making a difference in people’s lives.
She is happily married to her husband and together they are raising two daughters. Marina teaches Sunday School at her church and is involved with the MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) program.
Human Resources Director
Andrey received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a focus in Human Resources and Business Analytics from Eastern Washington University. Since 2013, Andrey has been involved in varying parts of Enlightium Academy and has enjoyed his interactions with parents and students along the way. He is certified by ACSI.
He and his wife are raising three children in the beautiful Inland Northwest. Andrey enjoys quiet moments over a cup of tea or coffee and in nature. He is also involved with a group of Christians that focuses on evangelism in his town.
Director of Communications
Michael graduated from Eastern Washington University with his bachelors in Business Administration. He has worked at Enlightium Academy since 2015 as the Director of Communications handling internal procedures, policies, and communications. Michael works on Enlightium’s website development and maintenance. He is certified by ACSI.
Prior to attending college, Michael enlisted in the United States military in the field of cryptology, where he served on four continents. Michael has a love of learning and continually reads about any subject that interests him. He enjoys listening to audiobooks while running, having participated in numerous 12Ks and half-marathons. Michael loves hiking and camping with his wife, daughters, and dog in the great Northwest and plays the guitar, ukulele and the upright bass.
Director of Enrollment
Valentin Solodyankin has been in private Christian education since 2007. He is certified by ACSI.
Valentin attended a Christian school during his high school years and then studied at Whitworth University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication and a minor in music and theology. He taught Bible, history, and music at a local private school. Believing that God has called him to children’s ministry, Valentin has traveled to Ukraine, Russia, and Mexico for summer mission trips.
Valentin is a family man who enjoys adventures. He has a lovely wife and three children whom he adores. He loves to learn, travel, and participate in outdoor activities and sports. "Enjoy life," is a motto he adopted from his father, and a motto he lives by. “We live in a beautiful world that God created and have so little time to see it all!”
Head of Admissions
Liya Vogin has been working in education endeavors since 2012. She joined the Enlightium Academy registration team in 2014 and became the Head of Admissions in 2016. She enjoys helping families through the enrollment process as they get to learn about online education at Enlightium Academy.
Liya and her husband enjoy living in Arizona where it’s always sunny and warm. She loves to travel and they had the opportunity to live abroad, which was a dream come true! During her free time, Liya enjoys scrapbooking and going on long walks with friends and family.
Bryan Aguilar joined Enlighitum in 2017. He is working with the Enlightium technical team to integrate new applications and processes to better serve our students and families.
Bryan earned a degree in Information Processing from Spokane Falls Community College. He worked as an aerospace scientist until joining Enlightium and has since been devoted to improving our systems to better support our growing school.
Bryan enjoys traveling and participating in sports and activities with friends and family. He also enjoys learning new skills and finding innovative ways to utilize technology.
