Parent-teacher conferences are an opportunity for teachers and parents to meet, often for the first time, and have an open discussion about the student’s academic performance. Topics discussed may include observations of the student’s overall progress in the class, specific strengths and weaknesses, suggestions for ways the student can grow, helpful resources, and answers to any questions the family might have.
Here are a few details about how to prepare for and request a conference, as well as a few ideas on how you can set your student up for success throughout the entire year.
You will receive an email from your student’s teacher with flexible appointment times all month long. Schedule the conference at a time that’s convenient for you.
You will receive a Teacher Detailed Report via email. Review your student’s performance and reply via email to continue your conference correspondence with the teacher.
*Conferences are conducted monthly with the Primary School Coordinator. No parent-teacher conference registration is needed.
