“After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.”
—Revelation 7:9
Enlightium Academy’s English Language Learners (ELL) Program offers students whose first language is not English the opportunity to receive support through specialized ELL courses and instruction by an ELL certified instructor. ELL courses are designed to review basic points of English grammar, teach reading strategies, essay-writing process, study skills, test-taking strategies, and vocabulary acquisition, as well as allow students the chance to seek help with writing assignments from other courses. ELL courses are designed to give students the tools that will help them transition into and succeed in all their regular courses.
Eligibility for the ELL program is voluntary, and families who would like to participate in this program should indicate their student’s language learner level on the enrollment form. If a student realizes that they would benefit from the help this program provides after starting their school work, please contact your student’s Enlightium counselor. In some cases, teachers may also recommend that a student participate in this program.
