Available to Grades 10-12
Prerequisite: Psychology A
This one-semester course is designed to introduce students to the scientific study of the behavior and mental processes of human beings from a Biblical, Christian perspective. God has created the human being to be soul and body, and addressing human psychology must take both into account in order to be holistic in nature. This course will treat the subject matter of psychology from this perspective rather than the naturalistic viewpoint found in modern psychology.
As a follow-up to Psychology A, students will study fascinating subjects such as how we develop from conception to infancy to adulthood, the nature of consciousness, how we think, the role of language in our development, emotional intelligence, and different theories of personality.
